She held him close and reassured him, “It’s okay, I’m going to help you.” His eyes looked so sad, his little body was covered in ticks, and he was extremely thin. He was only about three months old. Raspberry was found alone, underweight, malnourished, and covered in ticks. He cried from hunger and fear, but despite everything he had been through, he had a strong will to live.
